Children are so suggestible. In The I'm Not Scared Book, solutions are offered for fears children often have when they're young. The problem is not all children have these fears. Suggesting that other children do, might result in fears for your young reader that were not already there. Why not write a series of books, one for each fear a child might have? If your child is afraid of thunder, that would be the book to buy. Adding fear of the darkness isn't something you want to do by reading him a book that tells him other children are afraid of the dark.
