his is the tale of a small girl with a very loud voice. One day she goes out looking for someone to play with but, unfortunately, her big voice scares potential playmates.
S
urprisingly, an elephant, snake, and crocodile all lumbered, slithered or waddled away when the child opened her mouth. Then the girl discovered a lion rolling in the grass. The lion looked at the girl and let out a mighty roar. She looked him right in the eye and laughed!

And together they played and played ... until the end of the day.

t's a very simple story for children two years of age and older. The big, bold illustrations in this picture book are quite eye catching and complement the child's unusual dilemma. Together the text and illustrations make a nice book that any youngster will enjoy at story time.
