he little frog in this picture book for children two years of age and older will leap right into your heart. Little Frog has just discovered his jumping ability. He leaps over a ladybug, a bee, clover, daisies, and even a creek and some splashing beavers.
B
ut after he's done he always leaps back to his mother. As the story continues, the little frog becomes more adventurous. He leaps over an owl's nest, trees, and even a rocky hill top. But, of course, he always leaps home to his mom.
H
igher and higher Little Frog goes. Soon he's bounding over mountains, the sea, and roaming clouds high above. Then he aims for the sun and the stars! No matter how high he jumps or how far away he goes, this adventurous frog knows he'll always find his mother waiting for him at home.
A
lthough quite simple on the surface, this picture book has an important underlying message. No matter where you go or what you do, your mother will always
be there
for you. You can shoot for the stars, but there will always be that safety net or landing pad that will be there if and when you need it!
