his lift-the-flap board book poses a number of questions which will be answered when you flip up the flap on the opposite page of each two page set. For example, '
Where are baby's feet that are good enough to eat?
' Flip the blanket covering the baby and you'll find the answer. '
Under the blanket!
'
O
ther questions ask the child to find baby's nose, tummy, knees, and tushy. There's not much to this picture book, but for toddlers you don't need a complicated text.
O
nce your little one has mastered the flaps it will be time to move beyond the book and ask him or her to point to the corresponding
part
on his or her own body. Try adding fingers, ears, belly button, toes, and hair!
T
he big, bold, colorful illustrations make this a nice beginning book for the very young child. You'll have to help flip-the-flaps until the little fingers can master the task on their own.
