here are also many, many stores and window shopping is fun. Dotty takes her friends to visit a big toy store and then they have lunch in a sidewalk café before some playtime at a park. Then after a busy day, the trio take a subway, another new experience for Maisy and Charley, to get to Dotty's apartment.
L
ife is very different in the big city and Maisy's adventure introduces the young reader to this fact. At first it may be a little overpowering, but there are also lots of fun things to see and do in the city. Maisy's experiences will help ready your young child for a similar big city excursion.
