his evocative picture book with its beautiful illustrations celebrates the wonderful experiences a child can enjoy. '
No one but you can walk through a rain puddle in your bare feet,
' reads the text as a little girl is pictured splashing through the water with the wind ruffling her blond hair.

ther children are shown listening to a redbird in the forest, dangling their feet in a fish filled pond, gently holding a turtle, and watching the flight of a bumblebee.

o matter what they are doing – licking the dewdrop off a rose, smelling a flower or nuzzling a puppy – all these youngsters are perfectly in touch with their surroundings.
