t is well known that chameleons like to blend in. It's their nature. Chamelia isn't like most chameleons. Blending in is not for her. She's determined to stand out. She loves the attention she gets by being different.
A
t school Chamelia doesn't dress like the other students – not as bland. She prefers to do things in her own special way. It's difficult to be the center of attention every day, but Chamelia is up to the challenge.
B
ut things don't always go Chemelia's way. Sometimes standing out isn't best. It leaves her feeling left out.
E
very child will understand Chemelia's desire to be noticed. In a few words and some great illustrations, this story tells children that it's okay to stand out some of the time, but sometimes they need to be team players.
