P
retty Princess Pig is having a party. She's invited all her friends and must now get the house ready for company.
S
he tries to get the dust bunnies to go away, but doesn't mind when she misses some. She decides the dining room needs paint and plaster and sets to work. She doesn't notice the mess she makes while painting. Fortunately she's a better cook than a housekeeper or painter, but even then she makes more mess. When her friends arrive they pretend not to notice the mess since Princess Pig doesn't.
T
he illustrations in this picture book are laugh-out-loud funny. The rhyming is flawless. Children from 4 to 6 will enjoy Pretty Princess Pig's idea of getting the house ready for her company.
