hat's a mother pig to do when her piglets escape into the night?
I
t's the middle of the night, and all ten of mother's piglets, entranced by the full moon, crawl out the window and wander outside under the light of the moon.

hey are having one great adventure after another:

Under fences they scoot.
In gardens they root.
Snout-snuffling piglets
Plunder and loot.
Over the creek they hop.
Into the pond they plop.
Belly-first piglets
Recklessly flop.

ut what happens when the moon becomes obscured by the clouds? The brave little piglets are not so brave any more. Mama, of course, rescues each and every one of her little ones and brings them back inside where they are safe and sound.
T
his is a nice bedtime book that will resonate with very young children. The illustrator created many lovely scenes to accompany this elementary story.
