R. Rotruck's A Young Wizards Handbook: How to Trap a Zombie, Track a Vampire, and Other Hands-On Activities for Young Monster Hunters is a foray into the fantastic. This handy guide has plenty of fun activities for young monster hunters, such as details on how to make a monster hunting pack out of old jeans, a recipe for dirt cake, and instructions for games like Blind Beholder's Bluff. While the guide is steeped in fantasy, there are still important real-life tidbits to be gleaned from this slim volume, such as how to mark your path when exploring a new place. Boys with active imaginations will definitely enjoy the crafts and games contained herein.
