This book is all about rabbits ... a lot of rabbits! An interactive volume formatted like a calendar, this picture book introduces the mathematical concept of exponential multiplication. And, what better way of doing this, than by using a bunny family whose numbers just keep growing!

Youngsters four years of age and older follow Loney and Chalk Rabbitt throughout the year as they try to cope with their rapidly expanding household. At the same time they must also handle a different seasonal challenge each month from the chilling temperatures of February to the wet weather of April and the heat of July.

Behind lift-up-flaps you'll discover a bunny's first month scrapbook, a ration book from the Ministry of Carrots, an issue of The Fibber (a newspaper), a carrot cookbook, and other goodies.

The final surprise is a pop-up with lots and lots and lots of bunnies hopping all over the place. Holy Rabbit! As you will see, this family has really grown!

Emily Gravett has created some really cool and quirky picture books for children but The Rabbit Problem stands alone as one of the British author's most remarkable creations. There really isn't a text here but, as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. That's certainly true in this instance!
