The three short trucking stories follow the exploits of Tow Truck Ted, Izzy Ice Cream Truck, Monster Truck Max, Grader Kat, Payloader Pete and the rest of the gang. The young reader (three and older) is invited to Pete's wild party and to watch to see how Max recovers after a wreck. In the final tale you'll follow Izzy as he sells ice cream. This is an ideal book for beginning readers since the text is simple, the print is large and there is plenty of repetition. Yes, this series is a favorite with young boys, but don't assume that girls don't enjoy it because, actually, they like it as well.
