My sisters and I are three gifted royal ladies. I'm Princess Allie and I love to bake. My sister Libby is really good at building things in her royal workshop. Finally, Millie, she's my other sibling, is a whiz when it comes to growing things. Each one of us spends lots of time engaged in our special pastimes. But then one day Mellie shook everything up by suggesting we switch places. She'd bake, Libby would garden and I would build things. Right away I was a little leery of this idea and our housekeeper, Mrs. Blue, didn't think it was a good plan either. But the three of us thought that since princesses are good at everything, there wouldn't be a problem. Frankly, we were totally WRONG! There was a big party for the kingdom's children planned at the castle so we decided to switch places. What a mess! You can read what happened, but I'll tell you right now that I was supposed to construct 100 perfect chairs for the little ones to sit on and the chairs didn't turn out very well. Eventually we realized that we had a serious problem on our hands. So the night before the party we fixed the situation so that special day wouldn't be a disaster. Can you guess what we did? I think you might be able to, but my lips are sealed. So if you are not sure, you'll find out how things turned out at the end of this picture book. To tell you the truth, this whole experience taught my sisters and me an important lesson. Princesses are good at what they love. You don't have to be good at everything to be a princess. If you are a little princess, you should keep this in mind. You don't have to be good at everything!
