That is the premise of this quirky picture book, in which a little boy, while grocery shopping with his mother, sneezes so powerfully that he develops amnesia, or in this case, sneezenesia. One by one, facts fly out of his brain through his nose, including numbers, names of dinosaurs, 'and an entire hanky's worth of presidents.' He is fine with forgetting boring school stuff, but realized it is serious when he sneezes out Christmas. Eventually he even sneezes out forgotten objects. Will the knowledge ever return to his brain? Will he remember who and where his mother is? You'll have to read more to find out. Expect to be a little grossed out by the graphic, highly exaggerated pictures, but kids with a high tolerance for the yuk factor will be intrigued.
