his lyrical story follows the adventures of a group of zoo animals when a magical moon illuminates their strange but wonderful antics. The evening's fun begins when an elephant jumps high in the air and flies. Next, a crocodile and a kangaroo share a bicycle made for two.

t gets even better as we see lions performing card and magic tricks, bears cooking up a big pot of squid and squidgeberry stew, and rabbits riding around on a giraffe for the view, clinging to his back and neck.

But nobody knew ...
', this rhymed story not only features some amusing animal behavior that no one other than the reader is really privy to, but it also offers practice in counting. If you pay close attention, you'll realize the animal count increases on each page until you reach ten.

he colored pencil illustrations featured in this delightful book for children three years of age and older are easy on the eyes. Although the colors are muted, the details are sharp and this is a story your child will find pleasure in, even after multiple readings.
