ome along with me as I treat all my friends in Trucktown to some special ice cream Easter surprises. I'm Izzy, an ice cream truck, and I've made the Easter eggs out of unusual materials, like one I made out of red bricks for Rose the crane and another I fashioned from an iron drum for Melvin the cement mixer.
A
lthough the outsides of the eggs are certainly unusual, wait until you flip-the-flap to see what is inside each one. Rosie likes Rocky Road so I covered her special ice cream cone with old tires, and Melvin got a strawberry shake with a traffic light sticking up out of it.
M
ax said he goes '
nuts and bolts for ice cream
', so that's what I topped his bowl of ice cream with - iron nuts and bolts! But when I got to the fire house I was in for a very big surprise - the fire trucks had a huge dish of '
emergency fudge ripple and marshmallow
' ice cream with a cherry on top waiting for me. They said, '
It's all for you, Izzy, because we thought maybe you want an ice cream!
' Now, that was really nice of them.
S
ince my book comes with a sheet of 25 reusable stickers, you can help me deliver the treats to all my friends. If you want, you can mix together your own ice cream specialty or just decorate the pages any way you like.
B
ut, whatever you do, don't put the stickers in your mouth or on the walls and furniture in your room. That's not where they belong!
