Pearl, my cat, is coming along because pets are welcome too. When we get to the street where the party is being held, a bunch of colorful balloons tied to the front stairs announce which house it is at. But, suddenly I get a bad case of shyness and I'm not sure I want to knock on the door and go in. I'm thinking, 'Maybe I should to go home, instead.' Then guess what? My silly kitten goes right in through the pet door. Well, if Pearl does that, I guess I'll have to knock on the door. When the door opens everyone shouts, 'Welcome to the party, Brownie!' Am I ever glad I did decide to stay for the party. We played games and had cake and ice cream. It was really a lot of fun. If you are a little shy, like me, I think you should read my story book and look at all the nice pictures. Then, I bet you won't be shy any more. At least, Pearl and I hope you won't be!
