hile I think the vibrant colors and amusing caricatures would appeal to the targeted age group for this book (4-8), the text is so confusing I can't imagine a child making it through 3 pages without asking 300 questions. The nonsensical patterns may have worked for Stein, but they simply muddy a children's book.

nless you are a huge Stein fan and want to expose your child to her as soon as possible, I would pass on this one.
