Benny and his sister Penny are two small, curious mice who have heard that there is a new kid next door. Their curiosity leads them to commit 'a BIG no-no!' when they venture into the yard next door in search of a missing pail, and follow rather large (monstrous?) footprints. After the usual misunderstandings - including a mud fight and a few tears from both sexes - Benny and Penny make a new friend in this delightful, beautifully drawn story.
