Yep, it's that popular. From the soft pillow heart on the attractive cover that is just begging to be touched to the brightly colored illustrations throughout, this delightful and engaging lift-the-flap board book is too much fun to resist! Inside, you'll find a blue polka-dotted chair resting innocently on the page. 'Who's that hiding under there?', the book asks. Your little one lifts the flap and, 'Peek-a-boo! A brown bear in a chair!' The next discoveries are a puppy dog, a kitty cat, and a cow. Lastly, you read 'And who's that right there, as cute as can be...' Behind a big heart flap is a mirror. 'Peek-a-boo, I love you! The sweetest baby in the world to me!' This endearing new book in Sandra Magsamen's Snuggle-Me Stories series is the perfect length, not so long that my daughter gets distracted and crawls away in the middle of it, and not too short. If we do happen to stop reading before she's ready, she's happy to start from the beginning again. It's a cheerful read, and it keeps Emma's interest much longer than regular board books because she can lift the flaps herself. And of course the phrase peek-a-boo is familiar and loved by her. Pick this one up for your child up to age three – it would make a great Valentine's Day gift!
