en 10 Alien Force
is Cartoon Network and Del Rey's latest graphic novel series featuring current kids' cartoon favorites.
Ben 10 Returns
is an easy read that reluctant younger readers will be able to get into easily, if they are fans of the show.

en Tennyson has put away the Omnitrix and has been living as a normal teenager for a few years. However, when his grandfather (former Plumber Max Tennyson) disappears leaving a somewhat cryptic message for Ben, Ben knows it is time to put the Omnitrix back on to save his grandfather and rid the world of evil aliens. This is a big task which he cannot do alone, so he is going to need the help of his cousin Gwen, an alien Plumber, and even his old nemesis, Kevin Levin.
B
en 10 Returns
is a fun story with a well-written plot. However, the graphic novel goes astray a little from its purpose with the unneeded narration that accompanies a lot of the panels, simply saying what the stills are showing. These take away from the flow, causing the fast-paced dialogue and strict action scenes to become bogged down with stops for unnecessary words. The cliffhanger, though, will keep young fans eager for future installments in the
Ben 10 Alien Force
series.
