Find out what animal year it is (from 2001 to 2024) by turning the wheel on the next page. Pull tabs to help their mother sweep the house and make the lion dancer open and close its eyes and mouth; smell the oranges that help ensure a sweet year; lift flaps to see the family's dim sum choices and the lucky money the children are given; and see the amazing pop-up Chinese dragon weave through the streets. We're told the dragon 'brings wisdom, wealth, and happiness.' This little book - that ends with a 'Happy Chinese New Year!' wish - will certainly bring happiness to wee ones, who will enjoy discovering anew what's hidden in its pages.
