From Angels through Worship, this book provides trivia, facts, and resources to help kids understand what the Bible, as well as our culture, has to say about different topics. Topics include: Symbols of Christmas: Where did the different symbols originate?; Clothing and Cosmetics: Definitions of the clothing discussed in the Bible, facts about the clothing people wore every day and for special occasions; The Holy Land in the Old Testament: discusses the locations mentioned in the Bible, as well as their current locations with photographs. There are also geography topics (seas, deserts, Jerusalem), foods, facts about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. The Amazing Bible Factbook for Kids is an excellent resource, but also a fun way to start discussions with your children. It would be a great resource for home school parents, Christian school teachers, Sunday School teachers, and other adults who might not always know how to answer the questions kids ask. But it's also a wonderful book for kids to have on their shelves so that they can expand their own knowledge. While recommended for ages 9-12, parents can certainly share the concepts with younger children, and even older children and adults will find something interesting and captivating enough to keep their interest. This gem would be a fantastic gift for the holidays or any other time you're looking for something special to share with a child.
