Framed by several well-known nursery rhymes, particularly I Love Little Kitty, this charming picture book shows a mischievous cat playing games of chase with a clever mouse, who seems to outwit the cat on each page. The true friendship between these two cute creatures is revealed on the last pages, when Mouse pats Kitty while he drinks his milk, followed by a contented nap together.
