Kaszuba Locke Mr. Rogers asks Amelia Bedelia to put all the glasses in the dishwasher, and she includes his eyeglasses too. When Amelia is promoted by Mr. Rogers from housekeeper to rocket scientist - as a volunteer at the school's Science Fair - see what happens when Amelia adds too much baking soda to Jason's volcano project. Teacher Miss Edwards, who is in charge of the science fair, introduces herself to Amelia. 'I just got here, too. I was in a make-up test,' says Miss Edwards. Amelia tells her she should get an A grade as her lipstick looks great. Miss Edwards explains that the make-up test was for her students, to which Amelia replies, 'Are you kidding? These children are way too young to wear makeup.' Professor Don Dinglebatt is the judge for the science projects. When he sees the winning entry, he will shout Eureka! Amelia is puzzled by two things - first, why isn't Judge Dinglebatt in his court room, and 'What is a eureka?' When Peggy Parish died in 1988, Herman Parish continued his aunt's legacy, the adventures of lovable housekeeper Amelia Bedelia. Herman adds much to the play-on-words trademarks of Amelia's life. Lynn Sweat used watercolors and black pen to paint her pictures, defining characters' expressions with smiles, ohs and ahs, and worried looks. And, let's not forget the loud noises, such as Whir-r-r-r-r and Whoosh from a leaf blower, BaaaAAA-BooooMM when one project explodes, and Clap, Clap, Clap when the winner is announced.
