But what's this? No labels? Where did they go and how will he hand out the presents without them? He sends the cubs to play while he unwraps everything to find out what's what. But Big Bear still needs labels, so he and his animal friends look for them. Kids will love to open the pop-up flaps, check out the presents, and see toys fall out of the cupboard, while the search continues. Finally, Big Bear and friends head back to the tree for another glittering surprise. Who took the labels? Kids can find out by looking very carefully at the pictures. Santa Bear's First Christmas is a sweet story, enticingly illustrated. And it's fun as well - there's a mystery to be solved, and presents to be opened - what more can any child want in the build up to the holidays?
