A down to earth mechanic and coyote shapechanger, Mercy is mate to Columbia Basin werewolf pack Alpha Adam. She has close, but dangerous, friends in ancient vampire Stefan and iron-kissed fae Zee. This episode is a little different from the usual as it doesn't center on pack territory, though it starts there. Mercy has been getting scary calls from the Lord of Night and knows he is going to come for her. Then her half brother Gary shows up from Montana, in bad shape, under a binding spell. So she and Adam head to the Montana mountains where a once-in-a-century storm is brewing with frost giant magic. When they meet the giant, Hrimnir, they learn that he believes Gary took his harp and it's at the Looking Glass Hot Springs dude ranch, where the giant cannot follow. So they make their way there to find a lot of fey folk and a maelstrom of magic and danger. Turns out that Coyote has risked much to help his daughter.
