What to do? He decides to consult Wise Owl, who 'knows EVERYTHING.' He has trouble finding Wise Owl but encounters Fox, Tree and Swan. Each of them has a question too, and asks Duck to take their questions to Owl. When it's getting dark and Duck is feeling cold and miserable, there is Owl. Owl tells Duck that he's not unlucky and suggests he take their answers back to Swan, Tree and Fox, after a good night's sleep. Then he will find his luck. And he does, with a bit of a twist. Young readers who are also feeling down on their luck might enjoy Duck's adventure - and benefit from Wise Owl's advice.
