It's festively illustrated by Kurt Cyrus. The story opens as two young sledders watch as 'One doughnut truck, on a cold winter day, / drives into town and parks and stays.' It's followed by snowplow and sander, tree carrier, digger and crane, 3 carrying lights and decorations, fire and boom trucks, stake truck, 3 carrying a Christmas village, tow truck and flatbed, and one carrying llamas! Of course, they're setting up a holiday scene, but can't get the star on the tree - till the youngsters share their great idea. You won't guess what it is. You'll just have to read the book which ends, 'Merry Christmas to mamas and llamas - and you!'
