Mom's version opens 'My mom works as a carpenter. She builds things big and strong. / At night, though, she's a general who'll march the troops along.' Turn the pages to see mom act as art curator, laundry archaeologist, height tracking scientist, pet handling zookeeper, doctor, play actor, and more. As dad's book did, this one finishes by reminding young readers of what matters most - 'Mom does one job for her career, the others out of love.'
