It's the eve of Hanukkah in Chelm and the Mayor of Lublin sends them a special gift, a giant menorah! They light it the first night of Hanukkah and ponder how to thank the Mayor for this amazing gift.

Rivka the Cook sends her famous potato latkes, but they don't reach the Mayor, as the driver eats them. Hayim loads his cart with snow but it melts en route. Avrim carves a dreidel, but gets lost. How will they thank the Mayor?

Young Yitzi tells them. They move the menorah. They sing. And the Mayor's heart is filled with joy. This is a sweet story that people of any faith can appreciate for its lesson about the value of simple, heartfelt things.
