Barnaby Never Forgets    by Pierre Collet-Derby Order:  USA  Can Candlewick, 2017 (2017) Hardcover      Reviewed by Hilary Williamson Pierre Collet-Derby's Barnaby Never Forgets takes us into the rather chaotic life of a young bunny, who is late for school as he can't find his glasses (which young readers can see are on his nose all the time!) The bunny seeks those glasses here, there and everywhere, while musing about how great he usually is at remembering (with funny examples of the things very few of us would forget). But then he acknowledges examples of what does slip his mind 'every now and then' (I love the stacks of 'overdue library books') and speaks to the fun of finding long lost items (like a 'favorite old bunny'). If you have a forgetful youngster in your household (and even if you don't), you'll find this picture book hilarious.
