In this humorous picture book the grubby, smelly captain is anticipating his birthday as he counts down to the happy event. Little does Captain Beastlie realize that his crew has quite a birthday surprise in store for him. You'll find it hard to hold the chuckles in as you see what that surprise is. Children love silly stories and this rollicking high seas adventure should definitely tickle their funny bone. Mom and dad will find it amusing too. Also, be sure to pay close attention to the detailed illustrations of Chris Mould for there are fun things worked into the art as well!
