Pedro, a crocodile, and his cousin George, an alligator, are off on a fun filled adventure in this rollicking picture book. Tired of being confused for one another, the pair are intent on finding some children to 'teach a lesson to'.

Children say all sorts of foolish things, according to Pedro, and they never get the difference between a crocodile and alligator correct. Since George has never come across any children in his life, the two decide to find some children and perhaps nibble on a few of them.

Locating a school seems to be a good idea since there are plenty of children available in the building, but when Pedro and George invade a classroom, things begin to go awry. When George attempts to 'taste a child', he finds the youngster is quite accomplished in judo and ends up with a black eye.

That's only the beginning of what becomes a memorable visit to the classroom, but I'll let you discover what happens after that. Needless to say, this is one adventure that Pedro and George will not soon forget and, surprisingly, they were both wrong about the children not knowing the difference between a crocodile and an alligator.

Youngsters four years of age and older will love this whimsical tale about George and Pedro. There's an extensive narrative here that will make this an ideal book for story time in a classroom setting, or at bedtime.
