lthough they find the perfect place for their picnic, the group of friends don't realize that there's a not so friendly bull in the pasture that will force everyone to run and hide in the nearby forest.
rom that point on it is a pretty simple tale with shared food and games. Burningham makes the story more interesting, though, by adding an interactive element where the young reader is challenged to find various items like a scarf, hat and ball hidden away in some of the illustrations.
harming with an understated story,
