Here's a book you need to keep on the shelf for a day when your child or grandchild complains that he/she has nothing to do. Chock-full of fun things to do that only require a pencil to complete, this activity book features mini-crosswords, fill-ins, squiggle art, complete the drawing assignments, word searches and a number of other intriguing tasks.

The directions for each activity are clearly explained. Some of the games are intended for two individuals, but most of what you find here is designed for a single child.

A bargain at twice the price, this is a book you'll find invaluable if your child is easily distracted or if you'll be away from home and may need a diversion for your son or daughter. Look for the companion book, The Stuck in a Car, Plane, or Train Activity Book, as well since it will provide you with a little more ammunition when your child says he or she has nothing to do.
