pencer was an only child. He was strong as a bear. He was fast as a horse. He was tall as a giraffe. (well, maybe not quite that tall!) Spencer had all sorts of admirable traits and one or two not so admirable ones, like being as messy as a pig. But all in all, Spencer was a pretty cool kid.
hen one day, a very special day, Spencer's world changed quite drastically. His mom and dad brought home a big surprise. Well, Spencer was sort of expecting it but, still, it was a pretty special experience.
For the first time ever Spencer was a brother.
' Do you know what that meant? Now this loud, funny, wild little boy would also have to be gentle because you don't toss babies around like footballs. And, that was quite OK because Spencer liked the idea of being a brother.
eedless to say, any family expecting a new arrival will find this an excellent book to share with the current children. Being a brother or sister can be a pretty cool situation, but it does take a bit of an adjustment, especially if you are an only child.
One Special Day
will help pave the way and make the transition easier.
