The all black background on each page makes the little yellow box really pop out at the reader as he or she turns the pages of this board book. Since this is a book of opposites, you'll find the Little Yellow Box flying high and low in a helicopter, riding up and down in an elevator, opening and closing a garage door and turning the lights on and off in an apartment building.

Along with some very clever pop-ups, there are sturdy tabs that will allow the reader to manipulate the moving parts of the book, and flaps that must be flipped to see what's hidden behind them.

When you get to the final page and a large yellow box pops up, be sure to open the little door on the side and peer inside. You'll find a small box with a big smile peering back at you!

Pop-up books have always found a ready market with collectors, but children love them too. This latest book by David Carter is one you'll want to have because not only does it feature some interesting opposites but it is also fun to play with!
