'Can we go home now?' he keeps asking his fellow adventurer. Finally they arrive but it is necessary to don boots, mittens, a scarf, and warm snowsuit before they can venture outside. Mouse is not impressed by what he sees. But then everything changes. There are some penguins. In fact there are Yellow Eye, Fairy, Macaroni and King Penguins all over the place. Now, how cool is that? And, look, there's a big whale too. He jumps, dives and even bumps the boat with his nose. Wow, how exciting! What does Mouse say now? 'Can we go home?' Goodness, what's wrong with this silly mouse? OK, now it is time to head home. Now what does Mouse have to say? 'Are we there yet?' Perhaps next time Mouse should stay home! Toronto resident Frank Viva has fun with this picture book and Mouse's continual refrain will certainly strike a chord with any parent who has traveled with a child!
