When it is time for bed I like to snuggle up to my Mama and nestle in her white fur. She's a polar bear so my Mama is very soft and warm. Then I like to ask my Mama questions. I'll ask her why there is the moon is up in the sky and why the stars come out at night.

When I ask, 'Mama. Why?', she always has a good answer. She'll say, 'Moon floats up there to say good night to polar bears. He glides above to shine sweet dreams and sends them down on silver beams. And while you doze in soft moonlight, you dream sweet dreams from the moon so bright.'

When she's done, guess what I do? Yup, I say it again. 'Mama, Why?' Since she is so patient and understanding, she then answers the next why question, too.

Eventually, I get sleepy so the questions stop. Mama and I then fall asleep with the moon and stars watching over us.

I think you'll like my story and the really neat pictures that accompany it. If you are about three years of age or a little older, you can ask your mama to read this book to you just before you go to sleep too.
