Have you ever wanted to do something and everyone said, 'Oh no, you can't!'? Well, if you have had that unpleasant experience you will be able to appreciate and understand what happened to me.

I have always wanted to be a dancer, so one day I went to Madame Lucille's Dance Academy to sign up for lessons. Everyone said I was too big and I didn't have the right shoes. Madame Lucille said, 'But you are a dinosaur.' 'True,' I replied. 'But in my heart I am a ballerina.'

There were a few obstacles to overcome, like finding a place big enough for me to practice and a pair of slippers that would fit my rather large feet, but you'll see how we dealt with them.

After a few practice sessions Madame Lucille complimented me and said, 'What a graceful dancer you are, my dear.' But there still was a big problem. A lot more room was needed because there was a concern that that if I made a misstep (not that I would), the building would be damaged or I might squish one of the other, smaller students.

Finally we came up with a solution for this situation and it was such a splendid idea that more of my friends decided to join in and allow their inner ballerinas to emerge too!

I think you'll really like my book and you'll see how, with a little determination, you can realize any dream you might have even if other people place roadblocks in your path.
