Your toddler is invited to play 'I spy!' in this board book which introduces various members of the animal kingdom. As you flip through the beautifully illustrated picture book, you'll be asked to identify a critter that lives in a shell, one that has eight legs, another that features a very long neck, and a diminutive little fellow who is red and has black spots on his back.

Then you'll close out the book seeking an animal with big ears and another with horns. Along with the featured animals you'll find a supporting cast of other birds, insects and critters. Once your child has mastered the identification of the highlighted animals, then focus on identifying some of the others, such as the monkey, alligator, dragonfly, and mouse.

Children one year of age and up will love being asked to identify the menagerie of animals featured in this book - and don't be surprised if you won't have to help identify the animals after just a couple of read-out-loud sessions.
