Here's a story about a child's wildest dream - homework that does itself. Yup, that's what happens when Tony falls asleep one night without finishing his homework. The little boy's unruly school tools take matters into their own hands. Pencil and Pen start the story Tony is suppose to write and then Eraser and Fountain Pen join in.

With everyone disagreeing on how the story should read, the situation turns into chaos and before you can say 'Write on!', the tale turns into a weird piece about the planet Splotch.

When Tony awakens he finds the paper the group has collaborated upon and he reads it. But rather than use it he decides to throw it away. Wisely, the little boy decides to use the idea of planet Splotch to write his own story which he takes to class the next day.

What did Tony's teacher think? You'll have to read this funny picture book to find out what his grade was!

This is certainly an unusual and very creative book that is not only funny but proves it's better to do your own work than have someone do it for you.
