Q
uiet Bunny has a problem. He loves his forest and the wondrous sounds of the animals singing every night. The crickets chirp, the owl hoots, the snake hisses, the mosquitos buzz. Even the bullfrogs croak, but what sound can Quiet Bunny make? He longs to join in, but he can't make any of those sounds!

T
his is Lisa McCue's first book (she wrote AND illustrated it) and I'm very impressed! The illustrations are superb - bright, colorful, and with a touch of charm that I love. I would frame these illustrations and put them up in a nursery. The bunny looks soft and cuddly, and I would love to visit the shaded, green forest and meadow the bunnies inhabit.
M
y fourteen-month-old daughter listened rapturously with a smile on her face as I read aloud and included all the sound effects of the forest in my reading. Between the vibrant illustrations and the sweet story, we were both extremely pleased by the end of the book. I highly recommend
Quiet Bunny
