It opens on a tabby kitten gazing out a snow-edged window: 'Peering out the window, / watching snowflakes fall, / I wait for Santa / to bring fun gifts for all!' An adorable Santa Cat follows. Then we see pets in scarves and hats, settled amongst holiday decorations, resting angelically, playing the piano, being naughty and nice, and preparing gifts. Finally they celebrate the season: 'Now let's raise a toast / of holiday cheer: / Here's to a merry Christmas, / and a furry happy New Year!'
