For the active young child in your life, here is an elementary alphabet book featuring children at play.

Opening with an excerpt of a short poem by Robert Louis Stevenson entitled To Any Reader, the book shows children engaged in 26 activities, from A-Z. The simple verbs - such as eat, feed, mix and nap - are appropriate for early readers.

Another fun way to enjoy A Child's Day is to have the child perform all of the actions listed in the book. The cut-paper collage designs are appealing and are a good fit with the simple nature of the book.
