abrina Winfield needs a dowry for her daughter Belinda who is about to marry the Earl of Wyldewood's son Eric. In the past she was a daring smuggler who barely escaped being caught, but she gave that life up to ensure her daughter's place in society. Now, with her financial situation in ruins, Sabrina decides to head to Egypt on a treasure hunt.

icholas Harrington, Earl of Wyldewood, believes Sabrina would make him the perfect wife. Her grace and beauty enthrall him at their first meeting. He ends up at Sabrina's house after Eric begs him to talk sense into her and stop her trip to Egypt. The next thing he knows, he is on a boat with her - so much for her being boring and virtuous. Wyldewood starts to fall in love with Sabrina, but knows there is something familiar about her ... if he could only put his finger on it.
S
abrina must keep her smuggling past secret from Nicholas so that her daughter's marriage to Eric will go ahead, but bits and pieces of her secret keep coming out, so she strikes a deal with him. She is also horrified to find that her daughter Belinda has followed them on the trip, bringing with her both Eric and Nicholas' sister - since Eric's dad is a known womanizer, Belinda felt he should not be trusted with her mother.
V
ictoria Alexander creates a wonderful historical romance, filled with adventure. It is a pleasure to watch Sabrina and Nicholas slowly fall in love. Sabrina's background with the ship's captain not only makes Nicholas jealous but is also liable to spill some of her secrets.
