Her sparkling, positive personality and zest for life show him that she's anything but a gold digger, and is completely dedicated to saving her son. Her unshakeable faith in Cody's recovery and - shockingly - in Nathan himself despite his demands, leave him shaken. Respect for Kerri soon turns to love. But as long as Cody is suffering, Nathan knows Kerri will never allow herself to discover her own happiness. Kerri realises their relationship would never work, but this time Nathan is unwilling to walk away.

The addition of Nathan's own dark back-story adds even more depth and guarantees you'll be reaching for the tissue box often before turning the last page of
