When Sabine arrives, Nona's handyman and apprentice is searching for an ancestral remedy book that could cure her if found in time.

abine's boyfriend Josh claims to be glad she's back, but his behavior is strange. He has a new tattoo and won't even discuss what it means. Sabine can't complain since she is spending all her time thinking about Dominic, her grandmother's handyman.

ominic finds the missing fourth charm. It is the last charm which - along with the first three charms - will provide the information needed to find the book of remedies. Together, Sabine and Dominic race against time to find out what is needed to restore Nona's health.

abine's talents increase as do her problems. It is sometimes difficult to keep up with the multiple plotlines, but Sabine Rose is a character you'll want to spend time with. So, if you haven't discovered her yet, start with the first book in the series,
