uinn Baxter is enraged when the woman's car collides with his truck, and demands payment for his cargo. They end up coming to an agreement that Adrianna will sing in his tavern and tutor his handicapped brother to repay the damage. But Quinn's housekeeper, Lola, is not pleased with the arrangement and does everything in her power to get rid of the interloper.

uinn notices how good Adrianna is with his brother and starts to soften towards her. But just as the relationship begins to flourish, Lola tries to destroy it. And Richard (the lawyer) also appears to be on Adrianna's trail, still intent on forcing her to marry him.

orothy Garlock fans will love this sweet romance that also has an element of suspense to it. Quinn initially seems harsh and mean, but starts to fall for Adrianna when he sees how good she is with his brother. Adrianna can't stand the sleazy lawyer who wants to marry her and good fortune dropped her at Quinn's door.
A Week from Sunday
is a heartwarming story to read on a chilly afternoon.
